Olive loves agility and hikes in the woods with her best friend Missy the Sheltie. This summer she’s going to be kayaking with Nina and Michael as well.
Nina says, “A little about Olive…she is gentle, kind, lives to please and up for any sort of activity. She has an incredible nose. She found a skull on a hike. I persuaded her to give it to me and I tossed it well off the trail into the woods. One month later we were hiking the same trail and she came up with the same skull (not a visible shred of meat on it), very proud of herself! She’s enjoyed doing agility, loves to swim, hike and retrieve. She is also content to lay at our feet and have a nap on those lazy days. She’s very much a part of our family. I’m a veterinarian, in contact with dogs all day–Olive is very special and she is by far the best dog I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.”
