Trip is having a great time doing field work, obedience and agility in Florida with Paula. He finished both his NA and NAJ in short order by May 2009. He earned his CCA under evaluators Helen Dorrance, Janet Narushka and Margie Sarkin.

He hit the field in early 2010, finishing his UKC Hunting Retriever and Upland Hunter titles in two weekends and his AKC Senior Hunter title in 3 weekends. He hasn't failed a field test yet! Go, Trip!!!! Trip's SH title qualified him for the GRCA's Versatility Certificate (VC).
