Taitt has been named for Champagne Taittinger, a fabulous French champagne that traces its roots back to the mid-1700s. This champagne is described as "brilliant, golden straw yellow" "fine," "persistent," "very expressive and open," "lively" and "fresh." I suspect that these same words may describe Taitt once she is mature.

Taitt flew off to California to live with Steve and Lisa Newton and co-owner, Debbie Claussen (Saffron Goldens). She'll be doing conformation, obedience, field and tracking.

Taitt started her competitive career by earning her TD on her first attempt on March 29, 2008. She went on to pass the Working Certificate (WC) and her WCX, also on her first attempt. Congratulations to Lisa and Taitt!
