We are proud to offer the following Gaylan's dogs for stud service to approved golden retriever bitches owned by reputable breeders. Before any breeding can be considered, bitches must have all health evaluations required by the GRCA Code of Ethics which include:
- OFA, OVC, BVA or PennHIP hip evaluations;
- OFA, OVC or BVA elbow evaluations;
- annual eye exams with results registered with CERF;
- and an OFA or ARCH heart evaluation.
In addition, bitches should have no serious or chronic health condition and have a correct golden retriever temperament (eager, alert, confident, etc.). Please note that although all Gaylan's stud dogs have annual eye exams to assure their eyes are normal, none should be considered for bitches from lines the have experienced pigmentary uveitis.
