The Gaylans Logo
We have designed our logo to embody our goals in breeding golden retrievers. The golden silhouetted in front is our first conformation champion, CH Gaylan's Zetlands Warrior CD WC as drawn by Gayle. Rusty set the standard for our future breedings as a moderate, sound dog with wonderful movement and an upbeat attitude and wonderful hunting ability. Behind him is the forest green triangle representing the two triads that form the basis of our breeding program: type, soundness, and temperament to be assessed in conformation, hunting, and obedience/agility competitions. The forest green indicates our belief that goldens are natural dogs, born to work and show in a predominantly natural state.
