Jerry moved to New Jersey to live with Susan Palius and the rest of the Palius pack, including Feo, from the Gambling litter. He was named for one of Susan's favorite ballets, Fancy Free, which tells the story of three sailors on shore leave in New York City. Fancy Free was choreographed by and originally starred Jerome Robbins who was affectionately known in the dance world as Jerry.

Jerry is a very busy boy. He passed his CGC test at 5 months of age and earned his Tracking Dog (TD) title at 9 months of age. He finished up his Rally Novice title at a year, his RA and RE titles soon thereafter and his CD title at 22 months of age.

Jerry has been working hard in 2008. He has finished his CDX, OA, OAJ, Open FAST (OF), AX and AXJ titles. Thus far in 2009, Jerry has finished his MX, MXJ and XF titles, as well as collecting QQs.
