Scout and Kathrine is a mission ready SAR dog for the Californian Rescue Dog Association. CARDA works as Mutual Aid for the Office of Emergency Service, FEMA and sheriff departments to help locate lost and missing persons. Scout and Katherine have trained together for more than 1,200 hours dedicated to finding the world’s most valuable treasure, “a human being.”
Scout is a happy boy who loves to work. He is a confident dog and makes smart, good decisions while out in the field. At work he is eager to please, athletic and biddable. At home, he is a sweet cuddle bug, relaxed and easy to live with.
For fun Scout and Katherine do AKC tracking. Scout earned his TD in less than 6 minutes. He eagerly pulled down his track, but was considerate enough not to pull Katherine to the ground.
